conda install -c bioconda jalview

Installing with Anaconda

A Jalview conda package is available (tested on OSX and Linux) thanks to the great folk over at BioConda.

To install via conda, first download Miniconda for your platform. Then, open a terminal and type:

conda config --add channels defaults
conda config --add channels bioconda
conda config --add channels conda-forge
conda install jalview
